Baby Birthday?

The plan is to induce labor tomorrow morning (Wednesday) starting at 4 a.m. No, please don't come up to see us before lunch. It's going to be a long day, and I don't want to entertain you while I'm in pain or drugged. It's not you, it's me. Plus, Jarrod will inform people when baby has arrived. Wish us luck!

Apartment Fixes: getting "baby ready"

Things were't getting any cooler than 85 degrees around the apartment - time for the repair guys.
Turns out we had a lovely block of ice in the system and pipes frozen all the way out to the unit.

No, that pipe's not plastic it's ice-coated.


Normally about 1 inch in diameter.


A New faucet in the Bathroom! YAY! Haven't had one since November.

Ahh Sleeplessness

Well, I've now been up for 22 hours (with a 2 hour nap somewhere in there), thanks to the baby's violent thrashings between the hours of 1-5 am. His nights and days are definitely flip-flopped. How fabulous for my first few weeks of motherhood! Maybe I should switch my routine so we can re-adjust together when he arrives. For now I must decide if I should go ahead and eat breakfast or risk starving us both if I finally fall asleep.
